I us mine all the time,just about got all the gold worn off (in my dreams),to rich for my blood,but it is pleasing to the eye.

I would think that at that price that it would be a little negotiable.

Just doesent even make sense to have made a tool like that. That serves no use to anyone.

If I had the money I would for sure use the money for something more useful than a Leatherman of ant sort.

I like to think that would be what I did too, but if I had unlimited funds, I'm not sure I could resist......

But certainly, if I had $40k, I wouldn't spend it on a Leatherman, I'd continue to struggle on with the few I have already

Ja ja ja ja!! Well, I think that they gonna make 25 pcs only. Some rich people,the don't even know how to grab a set of pliers,because they never need to do it. And they will prefer to buy a nice diamond ring for their ladies. Some other rich people,they don't like  spend a penny,they are mean. So... Who is gonna buy that pliers? I am a tool fanatic. I spent less than that for all my tools. But who never knows....maybe in 20,000 years some lucky archeologists will find my body remains with that pliers stucked in my mouth thanks to my wife.

If  I had the money I'd get myself one of those fancy tools.  If I could buy two I'd even EDC one

I guess you could say that is the Leatherman for the person who has too much money and is looking for the multi-tool Bling factor.  If worse came to worse, you could always melt it down and make a "grill" out of it.

I kept the gold on mine from wearing off by coating the knife with Rustoleum bbq grill paint. The paint make the knife look more ninja than when the gold shows.  I'm thinking of including a bit of sand in my next repaint of this knife for better grip. The gold was kinda slippery.
