Wow, that video is pretty neat. The glass is totally shattered. It's surprising that such a small device can pack such a big punch.
In order to be certain of having the right tool for every job.........one must first acquire a lot of tools

I see Marc has those Res-Q Me tools in stock at www.edcdepot.com for all of $8.95.  I think I may need to get me another one... or ten!

At that price I am thinking stocking stuffers for my wife's family who seems to have the genetic marker for real bad drivers...

if anyone else is interested.

Ok, so most of us carry multitools.  What other things can you not leave the house without?

In my case, it can vary from day to day... especially weekday to weekend. But let's take a peek at today's load-out as an example:

Belt:
  • Leatherman PST-II multitool, black leather case
  • Cellphone (LG L1400) on a black plastic swivel clip (I bust about one a month, but buy replacements in bulk off eBay)

Left Front Pocket:
  • employee badge
  • Wallet, containing:
    • cash
    • credit cards
    • drivers license
    • spare house key, five $20 bills and a 100 minute pre-paid calling card tucked out of the way
    • a coupla Band-Aids in the back (I collect knives, and I'm clumsy... do the math)

Right Front Pocket:
  • Burt's Bees lip balm
  • Listerine Breath Strip PocketPak
  • Brigade Quartermaster Notebook cover, containing:
    • Rite-In-The-Rain 3"x5" notebook
    • Fisher Cap-O-Matic space pen, badly chipped black lacquer
    • Benchmade Osborne 943 folding knife
    • LiteFlux LF-1 flashlight (Luxeon III, 1xAA or 14500 lithium-ion, I keep a 14500 in it for the extra oomph)

Watch Pocket:
  • Slipjoint; today it's a big 'un, a two-blade "moose" from Vintage Knives with ebony scales

Back pockets:
  • Nada. I'm a desk jockey these days, I sit on my ass waaaaaay too much to keep anything back there!

Keychain:
  • aluminum mini-carabiner, for attaching to my belt, breifcase, or whatever
  • mini screw-gate carabiner, that holds the actual rings
  • 1" split ring with the key and remote for my truck
  • 1" split ring with my GF's spare car key
  • 1" split ring with house key, mailbox key, desk & cabinet keys, etc.
  • 1" split ring with a half dozen store loyalty card thingies (less money on food = more money for toys!)
  • 1" split ring with:
    • LRI Photon Freedom To The Max micro light
    • Bison Design aluminum whistle
    • Victorinox Classic, Smooth Alox
    • gray-market tritium Glow-Ring, blue
I used to have a Res-Q-Me on there, too, but I found it a bit bulky; it's now attached with a twist-tie to the upper seatbelt guide in my truck, where it can be easily reached from the driver's seat.

Don't even get me started on what I carry in my briefcase...

Amazingly, I wasn't a Boy Scout!

Actually, mine's kinda light compared to some EDC set-ups I've seen on BladeForms.com.   :o

I was looking through the picture and was wondering where the flash drive was!  Now I see it just didn't make the picture... reading posts really helps sometimes! :P

I have a Sandisk 1g USB Cruzer and thanks to NutSAK I have a 4gig on the way.  Up until a few weeks ago I figured I'd never need one because I have a portable card drive and a bunch of SD cards, but I love it now that I have it.

Of course, that just might be me incessant need for toys too...

Street dress (almost always neat jeans):

LF pocket:  wallet, coin purse containing change and P38 can opener (souvenir from army service long ago), Fisher Space Pen, Mini Sharpie

LR: micro fiber cloth in plastic envelope, day's paper receipts, business cards, etc.

RR:  handkerchief (Mother said never leave home without one)

RF:  keys, Utilikey (used once, ever), folded reading glasses and 4X magnifier (I'm getting on in years  :(), Leatherman Juice CS4 or sometimes Swisschamp, suspended by shoestring from belt

Watch pocket:  Micra or sometimes Vic Rambler attached to Inova micro light

Belt: sometimes one of several larger M-Ts

Work clothes:  add to the above a Domke photographer's vest  (I'm a photographer) stuffed with all manner of photo accessories, IDs, ear plugs (often I work near loudspeakers), breath mints, ibuprofin, note pad, wet wipes, paper napkins (there are a gazillion pockets in this thing, and as we all know, pockets need filled)

Real work clothes (grungy jeans for yard, repair, mechanical and other chores):

LF: empty

LR: micro fiber cloth

RR: hanky

RF:  keys, sometimes Spyderco Delica

WP: Micra

Belt:  Leatherman Core or sometimes a Swisstool I've been evaluating, Mini Maglight, either 6 inch adjustable crescent wrench or anvil pruner, depending on circumstances

I'll bet there aren't too many people in the world who care about what is in my pockets, other than the wife  :).

Oh yeah, I forget to mention the wrissmurfch.  It is a Timex Expedition I bought 3 years ago from K-Mart for $13.  It has a plastic case and crown, an easy to read analog face that shows date and lights up in the dark, all I need in a timepiece.  It is very accurate, losing only 12 seconds a year.  I just love it, wouldn't want anything else.
