Standard or Universal tool. Which have I just bought?

Okay, I thought this might warrant a thread of it's own. I just won a Leatherman Tool Adapter on EBAY. The description said UNIVERSAL TOOL ADAPTER. The seller says the instructions say the unit will work on the Charge Ti Charge XTi Wave blast Fuse and Kick and designed to work with the

The picture is of a standard tool adapter, not the newer UTA I'm afraid.

It's like the one on the left in the following pic. The description he's given is for he UTA, like on the right n the pic below.



The Standard Adapter will work with the older Leatherman tools i.e. PST, PST II, Supertool, Minitool, Sideclip, Flair and Pulse. It also works (just about) with the Supertool 200. It won't work with the original Wave or any of the newer tools.

I used to come here a lot.
