I did not start this thread for some to make jokes about needles and awls.  :twak:

Can we PLEASE get back to the point  ;)

(Image removed from quote.)  Talk about letting the Brits down man.  How can we maintain our reputation for derailment if you want to "get back to the point"?  Honestly. ::)

 :D
I think you just PIN-pointed the problem..  ;)  :D

Dudes and dudesses,

Is there any way of PERMANENTLY disabling a thread so it NEVER comes up on a "Show unread posts since last visit." button click.

For example: I am a vegetarian and there is a thread titled "Meat eaters read on"....once I have "checked" the thread out I realise its not for me and want to disable it....period.

So whenever I open up the "Show unread posts since last visit." it will only bring up stuff that interests me.

I believe this would make the most of my browsing time.

Thanks in advance gang,

Nick

Similiarly, if you could uncheck a thread you have posted on but no longer wish to be notified if there has been a new post made.

Just click the "notify" button at the bottom of the thread for that - it's a toggle ;)
I used to come here a lot.

So what happens if I wanna disable this thread then? Will my laptop implode with ironic combustion?  :o
