For trade:
(1) SwissTool Spirit & Rally Knife
(2) Bear Jaws Sportsman & Mag light

-------------------------------------------------------------------------

(1) SwissTool Spirit & Rally Knife (paid $31)
New in package.

I'd like to trade for a SwissTool Spirit S in the same condition.

Sorry to disappoint but I'm not looking to sell.  Trades for the Spirit S only

The Spirit would be almost perfect if it had both a plain edge drop point blade and scissors.  Unfortunately it's either one or the other: scissors or plain edge blade.

Since I have more than one Spirit, I'd like to trade one for a Spirit S so that I can give both a try.  Is there someone out there with a SwissTool S that would rather have a Spirit with scissors?

(2) Bear Jaws Sportsman & Mag light (paid $25 plus additional $ for upgrades)
Lightly used.  In box.

I bought this out of curiousity.  Victorinox bought Bear MGC and used their patents in design of the SwissTool.  Bear MGC has since been sold back to the original owners and is now named Bear and Son.  The Bear Jaws Sportsman was produced prior to Victorinox ownership.  Given this history as a forerunner to the SwissTool, it will be a good conversation piece for collectors.

This Bear Jaws Sportsman also has the MAC Tools logo.

The Bear Jaws Sportsman comes with a combo blade but I've swapped it out for a plain edge blade.  I'll also include a combo blade so you'll have the option (or a backup).  The original combo blade was not ground at the factory but this is a replacement.  The grind on the replacement is good but it needs a few strokes on a fine grit stone to be shaving sharp.  I've also exchanged the Phillips driver with a better Phillips driver from the Nicholson Multi-Max.  The Nicholson Multi-Max is actually made by Bear MGC and it is identical to the Bear Jaws except that it has a superior Phillips driver.

Essentially, this is an souped up version of the Bear Jaws Sportsman.

With the upgrades, this is a decent user.  But the Bear Jaws is better suited as a collectors item than a user.  I'd like to trade for something to use.  Let me know what mulit-tools you've got for trade.
