I picked up this old SAK from a gun and knife show yesterday; from what I can tell, the knife is from somewhere between 1902-1942, but beyond that, I can't even find a general model number. From looking through the few scans I've found of older catalogs, I've not yet found an exact match for the knife. Beyond that, however, the blade tang also doesn't match any of the ones listed from: http://www.e-webtechnologies.com/sak/Victorinox_Stampings___Trademarks_-_Update_12FEB08.pdf. The tang itself lacks a crossbow, yet still says "Victoria Switzerland," lacks a reverse stamping, and itself is just leaving me further confused as to trying to narrow down a timeframe for it. As for my guess of it being made post-1902, that's a guess in and of itself; honestly I'm still uncertain as to how different the wood scales are compared to the fibre scales.
