I SENT VIBES... but didn't get a chance to post earlier. Glad everything is fine. I'm glad there are no pictures... since I was not allowed pictures of my "open reduction and internal fixation of the clavicle" so no one else should get surgery pics! Anyway, glad all is well.

They need to do pathology tests "just in case".

Prior to her hysterectomy, my wife suffered from a severe case of endometriosis.
After the surgery, even though they never suspected cancer was involved, they performed pathology tests on the removed uterus "just in case" (especially it weighed 10 pounds).

The surgeon doesn't think it is suspicious for cancer at all, they just send everything to be tested.  We should know in about a week what the results of that were.  The doc said today that when she got a look at it she could say definitively that it was a skin issue not a breast issue.  She called it a chronically infected duct that would just keep going away and coming back and could become a problem later.  She didn't specify what problem that could be, but she wanted to get it out.  I'm ok with that.  Kim is sore.  The lidocaine wore off.  Poor thing.  But she's feeling ok overall.  I am thankful that it wasn't worse than it was after worrying about it for so long.  I'm glad that it wasn't as bad as I thought it could have been though.  Hopefully the biopsy results will be negative and we can put this one behind us too.  The new year is just around the corner and with it all new dramas and stuff to deal with.  LOL!  Thanks again from me and Kim.

Yes sir.  And you all have been wonderful in helping both of us in good spirits and at times distracted in a good way.  :)

"My boob hurts and my bra cup still runneth over because of swelling, but other than being sore I'm doing well.  The worst part of the whole thing was the huge needle the doctor stuck into my nipple to numb me!  That really hurt!!  I want to thank everyone for the concerns and support through all of this."
