Sending a Swisstool Back to Victorinox?
on: June 01, 2007, 08:46:13 PM
Do I just send it to this address on this page:

Victorinox AG
Schmiedgasse 57
CH-6438 Ibach-Schwyz

http://www.victorinox.ch/index.cfm?page=296&lang=E

With a letter with my name and address on it or do I need to drop it into a Vic agent first and let them send it back?

If it's a warranty repair I would try contacting Burton McCall first.  It's always easier to send in country than out...

Burton McCall Limited
Victorinox House
163 Parker Drive
Leicester LE4 0JP
Tel +44(116)234 46 46
Fax +44(116)235 80 31

I was talking about mine to a guy at work and he said he had a broken one in a drawer at home and I said I knew the right place to ask about getting it repaired.

Thanks for the info Def, Ill get in touch with them and see if they have an agent in Ireland or something, I doubt it though, he'll probably have to send it to England.

I just realised Ive used that Peterson House place in Dublin before, to get my Zippo repaired when the Harley Davidson logo popped off when someone dropped it off a balcony, I wonder if they do repairs or if they just gather these kinds of things and ship them back to the factories?

And I hope the Swisstool doesnt take as long as to come back as the Zippo did, I was waiting 3 months the last time I sent something to them, nothing he can do about it except try I suppose...
