My favourite is the Rambler. It works well on its own, and also is a perfect compliment to Alox, Wenger Rangers, SwissTools, etc. by offering T&T, scissors, and #1/#2 Phillips.

I gotta agree with you.  The Rambler is just one of these SAKs that does almost anything you might need it too.  I've had the idea recently that a 74mm version would be close to my perfect urban SAK. :drool:

For me it has to be my Wenger Minathor 704, every tool on it is just really useful to a geek like me*.  No other SAK (to my knowledge) has such a good assortment of small high quality screwdrivers either.  The case opener knife is just brilliant for opening laptops and other electronics without gouging the casing.  Not to mention the caribou leather scales just look class too.

*except the oil pike, I still don't have a clue how you are supposed to use that.

The Super Tinker and  Compact are my two current SAK favorites.  If I needed a saw on my SAK, I get a Fieldmaster.

oh, and the Swisstool. :D I'm EDCing a Compact and Swisstool RS and my needs are very well met.

I went phat with the rambler idea and now have a midnight manager on my keys, love having the little tiny pen.

However if Vic ever made an Alox Climber I'd be all over it  :drool:

Right now it has to be my swisschamp xlt. If I want to go lighter the swisschamp. If I'm on vacation and can surpress my boyscout OCD I'll  use the compact.

OHT and Huntsman for me. I'm tempted to pick up a Wenger Ranger, but they just look to big to bother with.

I have too many favorites, all Vics, but I am warming up to the few Wengers I have (of course the SI and Heritage are equivalent to Vic counter parts).

Tim sent me a my first couple of NewRangers so on Christmas day I'll be checking those out.  I'm not expecting to use them for EDC, but I just want to check them out.

Well since the time of my last post;

Still no favorite (there never will be), but...  The Wenger NewRanger 172, and the Wenger Minathor Club have been added to my list-of-favorites.  A few other smaller 65mm Wengers are now on the list as well.  The list-of-favorites is growing, with the Wengers, a Nemotron custom cadet with Phillips, and the Damascus Pioneer, and probably 10 or so more.

... and really if size is not an issue.... the Spirit really is the **** when it comes to pocket tools.

For me it's either my black Tinker or my yellow Rally. The tinker cause it's the first SAK I ever bought, and the Rally because 1) its YELLOW and 2) because no one loves the Rally.

Since doing this post ive probably traded most SAK's ive had, ive a few i wouldnt sell or trade like the mini mountain bike as a very useful tool,and usually got a classic around, ive now got a swisstool so will have to see how that goes, i wasnt sure at he beginning but now ive started to get it, it is a very nicely made MT,all the tools lock out smoothly, im not a lover of the pliers head and the drivers but they do work, it is a very beautiful tool,did i just say that  ::)   :D
