Favorite Fizzy Drinks..?

Hi all,
Recently I have been finding my all time favorite fizzy flavored drink in the grocery stores again.  It's a citrus soda (or pop or soda pop depending on where you live) called Squirt.  I had a can of it with me at work last night and it sparked a discussion about favorite sodas and/or fizzy drinks.  Either when we were kids or now.  I thought it was a pretty neat conversation and thought I'd ask here.  So, there ya have it.  What are/were your favorite fizzy drinks?

1. Squirt
2. Clearly Canadian
3. New York Seltzer
4. Birch Beer (Love that stuff!!!)

Sorry, I wanted to say it before anyone else did this time! 

I know this sounds terrible, but I love Perrier.  Most folks I know can't stand it, but I guess that just means I need to find a better class of friend!

LOL!  That's ok, boss man...I suppose you could make a fizzy mint chocolate chip something or other... I forgot about Perrier...I like it too.  They've got one that has a lemon flavor that I'm partial to.

I have to say I really don't care for the lemon version.  I always think I accidentally picked up a bottle of Windex or Lysol or something by accident...

I am quite happy with any of those.

Mountain Dew
Cactus Cooler
Orange Crush, Pineapple Crush
Squirt
Dr. Pepper
A&W Root beer, A&W Cream Soda
Canada Dry Ginger Ale

Beer is my favorite "fizzy" drink.

There was a local soda maker here in my area named Milde's that made the best cream soda I've ever had.  They made fruit-flavored drinks too.  The cream soda had that great creamy vanilla flavor, but it wasn't overly sweet like the others--it had more of a "bite" or tanginess.  Man, I miss that stuff.  It disappeared from the stores when I was in high school.

I had a conversation with a member of the Milde's family a couple of years ago, and I asked him what happened to the soda.  He said that another (unnamed) soda company bought the recipes to all the Milde's flavors and destroyed them.  I could tell that he was at least as disappointed with this as I was.  We reminisced a bit about the cream soda, as it was his favorite also.

I've been meaning to try Moxie sometime.

We do actually have quite similar tastes except I'll never get the D&B stuff, or the root beer really. Add to that list Sarsaparilla, black cherry soda and I prefer vodka in my tonic

Horrible, vile stuff.   I'll side with Hedge Kid all the way on this, the only thing to have in tonic is: Gin, ice and slice of lemon or cucumber.  If you've never tried the cucumber give it a go, it makes a fab refreshing summer drink.
