What is your most anticipated new tool for 2010?
on: January 06, 2010, 02:04:25 PM
Ok, since the votes are almost all in on the Multitool Of The Year for 2009, I thought it would be fun to see which tools folks are looking forward to in the New Year!

Off the top of my head these are the tools I know about for this year, and no doubt by the end of 2010 (and by the end of January!) we'll know about even more, but for now this is the list I have.

So, what tool are you most looking forward to?

For me it's the LM PS4 as it is a tool config I have been after for quite a while.

Did you clear that choice with Dave before voting?   :pok:

For me it will be the new / rumoured Vic. beast . None of the other outfits have products that hold much interest for me .

Hard one.
I vote for the unnamed Vic, for I really hope for a smaller Spirit *dream*

But to be fair: I will get a Squirt PS4 and both Styles. And I love the concept of the FLUX and will get one too. Not sure about the Gerbers, I will have to see reviews first...

Without more info on the mystery Vic, it's the PS4 for me too.

I'm quietly excited that the Vic might be legal EDC, but not raising my hopes too high  :-\

So far it is between the gerber octane, the PS4 and the style CS, but the octane is coming out next month supposedly.  the SHOT show is only a few days away so that may change.  The unnamed vic may pull ahead if it is a pliers based tool.

Damn shame they didnt make the PS4 look like the style-CS - I love the look, but want pliers rather than scissors. That knife blade on the style-CS also looks very cool.

But my squirt P4 is still pretty much brand new on my keychain for now, so either when it gets broken, or I can find a PS4 cheap, I'll do a swap.

Really looking forward to seeing what the new vic multitool will be.

I'm torn between the style CX and the PS4. I voted for the PS4 though. I sure hope there's diamond dust on the other side of that file.

I actually could see myself buying either tool. I'm a sucker for OHO blades.

It will probably be the Spirit B-

It's basically a Spirit, but with no tools. Or pliers.

Myself - the Grappler is one I'm looking forward to. Whilst the LMs look like good tools, I pretty much know what to expect. The Grappler on the other hand is something quite new and needs to be investigated.

I used to come here a lot.

I thought it was the Style CS not CX?  Anyway, that is what I voted for.  I would have went with the rumored Vic but I can't vote for a rumor.  I need to at least see a picture.

The fact that there is no picture and the tool is shrouded in mystery makes Vic the most anticipated for me

Saddly, none of the 2010 tools really excite me too much.  My most anticipated tool of 2010 is the ST 300 which I still haven't managed to procure :-\.
