well why not have a Thread here for the REAL Elsener SAK Soldier Model
 ( Oh and new one's too )

How Old is your OLDEST SAK Soldier ( or not )

I have many old soldiers and some other HARD to find ANTIQUE models
I will get the pictures soon but let's see what is out there..
As far Soldier I think my oldest one must be from the 1930's ...

I can't find the definitive answer on that but my guess is that they were NOT dated at that time. Just a guess.

I've got a '44 Soldier and it's solid as a rock.  In fact, as hard as it is to believe, it puts current model Vics to shame...

Screwdrivers- old Soldiers didn't have cap lifters.  They were tougher back then and probably opened the bottles with their teeth!

Can openers- you can bet in the old days cans just popped open when they saw that curved blade coming at them!

Lastly, here's the reason why I called it "50 Years of Progress."  Unless I have made a grave miscalculation, 1944 and 1994 are roughly about 50 years apart.

Give or take a year! :P
