Hi,

I´m thinking of getting one of those tools, i need your help now.
Is it possible that someone here post some pics of these two tools, for comparison.
i just want to now how much the size differs with these tools.
Would be nice  :D

Best wishes

There's many pics of the Swisstool and the Spirit next to each other here on the forum. Search for them, I'm sure you'll find them while you wait for some of the folks here to post theirs. And I'm sure they will, asking that kind of question here is basically just like pouring gasoline on top of a fire. :D

A.

PS Give us some more clues about what you are planning to do with the MT (edc, heavy duty work, etc.), this way it'll be easier to give you advices.

PPS Forget about what I've just said: buy both! 8)

and backups.

That's what I did... my SwissTool is backup to my Spirit X.  :D

Oh, with that said, unless you want the SwissTool RS, go for one of the Spirit models, it's my personal preference between the two, and is just as sturdy as the larger SwissTool. :)

Oh, I forgot to mention, if you think you'll miss the only tool not on the Spirit (other than the belt cutter of the SwissTool RS model) - that being the ruler, you can always grab a metal ruler from DealExtreme here:

http://www.dealextreme.com/details.dx/sku.21416
http://www.dealextreme.com/details.dx/sku.22258

For $2.35 and $1.28 shipped prices worldwide... that's what I've been meaning to do to pair with my Spirit, because frankly, I /have/ needed a ruler in the past and it's crazy the Spirit lacks one. :(

I'd somehow missed that review... spot-on, though, Chako... now you need the Spirit S, the BO Spirit S, the BO Spirit X Aussi Edition, and... ooh, the BO SwissTool.  :D

I am having way too much fun with SAKs and Leathermans to even think about expanding the "other" MT side of things...for now.  :climber: + :multi::)

But to my knowledge, you're only missing those four, unless you've since received other Victorinox SwissTools or Spirits. XD  Well, and a CS. *shrugs* XD
