I think it should probably state in this listing that this item is broken, just for anyone that isn't familiar with the Utilikey.
  We wouldn't want anyone to be confused.

As Crouton said, the Utili-key doesn't stay closed of open, the keyring part has broken off, so that's why I advise you to return it to Swiss+Tech for a brand new replacement.
