Well the Skeletool seems to be the new look of Leatherman- first there was "The Box" like the PST, SuperTool, Flair and Micra, then there was "The Trendy" with the Juices and the Squirts with the bright colors and rounded corners, then "The Wave" with the Surge, Waves and Charges, and I guess now we are into "The Skele's" with the Skeletool, Freestyle, MUT and Style CS.  I can imagine we'll be seeing more of this design for some time.

The "Box" line is still well represented, with the Kick, Fuse, Blast, Micra, and new ST300

"Wave" line I suppose would be made up of the Squirt tools, Juice tools, Wave itself, Charges, and Surge

Skele line would be the Skeletools, Freestyles, MUTs, and Style CS.

Liking the look of thes little chap now, but I have to say it doesn't fit my EDC too many duplicates with other stuff not enough exclusive tools to replace deserve a place of it's own.  Might find a home somewhere though as it does look nice and I'm sure I'l get one anyhow.

I´ll have to get Style and Style CS. Great looking tools!

They will have to prove they can fight the perfection of the Classic, but I´ll give them a try!

It's not easy, but it can be done.  With a little practice I think it would be easy enough.

Definitely excited about one this one too. Seems like a great light duty tool, in the same way I carry a micra when I can't carry anything else.

I love my micra with a passion, let's not mince words about that, but I do think this little cutie might find some serious pocket time in direct competition with it  :)

I can admit that of the five tools we have seen that Leatherman is going to release in 2010 I will end up buying all but one.  I'm not going to deny it.  I'll be buying the PS4, Style CS, Style and the MUT.  The only one I doubt, and I did say doubt, I will buy is the ES4.

I think you might be able to just substitute a Micra knife in it Allan. :)

It would be a unique chance to see how Leatherman interprets the knifelaws we have....
But the Micra idea is great and will surely be the way to go if it's not released here..  :tu:

OK, I have to revise my opinion. I was putting on my Supertool 300 and I was thinking I just need a pair of scissors. So now I see the point. Now I really want one.  :D

That could be a very cool little tool.  Have to play with one and see how the one hand opening action on the blade is.

If the blade is too hard to OHO, my opinion of it is slipping.  That's the only thing it really has over a good ol' Micra...

I wonder if the OHO feature is more a gimmick than actually being useful. If you think about it, as a Micra-like product, it will probably be on a keyring or lying inside a bag, not something that's floating around in your pocket like your regular EDC. So, removing it from a keyring or bag will already require 2 hands, what's the point of being able to open the blade with one hand? And in this case, the cut out is so small that OHO won't be easy anyway.

That said, it's really pretty, and I'll probably get one when it's available  :P
