OHT QUESTION
on: January 14, 2015, 01:52:50 PM
I've just acquired an OHT and I'm thrilled with it.

When I deploy the pliers, I unlock the buttons (on the handles), and smoothly push them to the top. It is a positive and silky action. When I retract the pliers, I press the buttons, but I have to fiddle with it to enable it to retract.

Am I doing something wrong, or am I missing something?

Thanks for your time and efforts.

Just use and play with it, it will get better over time.
Have fun.

Bye,
Michael

When it wears in a bit, you can push the buttons in whilst the tool is upside down between your fingers and the chassis drops down over the pliers. If you close your eyes really tight and use your imagination it's almost like an auto return... Kind of.
OHT is my work EDC. Could have used the pliers yesterday. But I kicked a door in instead.

Thanks guys for your replies. I guess I'll just have to use it and wear off any burrs or nubs.

Thanks again.
