I'm tempted to buy it, then sell it back to him for £100 when the inevitable regret kicks in. Teach him a lesson ;)

You know you don't want to sell that Dunc man  :twak:
I used to come here a lot.

Dunc do you know what the handle wings are for on your knife  .

I gave this similar knife a lot of consideration before passing on it  :D

Mat it a shame it didn't have a sheath as that blade shape is an early one and rare . With a sheath it would have easily made double . The handle wings are to hold it in the sheath . You press both in at the same time to release it . They are spring loadeded so it cant come out unless both wings are pressed in at the same time . At the top of the hande you can see a hole ? theres a post on the sheath that fits in the hole and the wings lock onto the post . Its very clever and very secure . These were worn upside down on the pilots leg and you wouldn't have wanted it to come loose in a fighter jet  :o

Hi Dunc,

I will take the knife as advertised. I will be passing through London a number of times during the next two months, and can pay via Paypal, or meet and pay you in cash if you prefer.

Please contact me on richardsmit@telkomsa.net to make the necessary arrangements.

Best regards,

Richard

You may want to send him a Private Message or email- Dunc has been busy a lot at work lately and may not see this thread until it's too late.
