An old novel in the Magic: The Gathering series. I was a casual player for a time, then found the novels and found them to be rather interesting. Now I found some in .pdf formats and am reading them on my PSP(since I can't afford an Ebook reader like Kindle I'll just have to make do).

Looks interesting mate.  Is it him recounting his tales or is it more of a 'how to' of the sniper.  Or a bit of both? :)

I just read a book called how to amputate a leg.  Its by an ex Aussie special forces guy about random funny and touching stories from his life.  Very funny book, well worth a look.

I just finished Tim Winton's "Breath"

If you don't read the first and last 6 pages, it's a really good surfing-slash-coming of age story, if you DO read the first and last 6 pages it's a story about a man's obsession with erotic asphyxiation.

Done with Asimov (for now). Reading "The Short-Timers" by Gustav Hasford, this book inspired Kubrick to make the "Full Metal Jacket". You can find and read it for free here http://www.gustavhasford.com/short.htm I uploaded it to my ebook readed

This :D

Also got the latest Vince Flynn book, 'Pursuit Of Honor'  :salute:

For those not aware Flynn's books they involve a CIA operative called Mitch Rapp, who in my opinion inspired Jack Bauer, who basically kicks terrorist a$$  :twak:

I'm reading a book by Andy McDermott called "The Covenant of Genesis".  It's a standard action suspense novel involving an ancient civilization that threatens to blow the doors off all the major religions in the modern world, and the Covenant are a group of religious fanatics from all three major Abrahamic faiths that destroy all sites and kill anyone who sees anything involving it.  Pretty sweet so far.

I've just finished reading " Between a Rock and a Hard Place " by Aron Ralston .Now a film called 127 hours . Its about the guy who cut his own arm off after becoming trapped for five days by a boulder down a slot Canyon in the middle of nowhere .

A very good read and the film is one to watch as well .

I love books and have a huge pile to wade through . Trouble is they are cheap and are everywhere and I buy them quicker then I read them  ::) I like old local history books and also ones about the sea and all the funny goings on along the coast a couple of Hundred years ago  ;)  I can really get lost in a book .

I'm about halfway through Landscape Turned Red by Stephen W. Sears, about the Battle of Antietam. The upcoming 150th anniversary has gotten me on a Civil War kick lately.
