Leatherman Surge Pics...
on: July 08, 2007, 11:04:04 PM
I was playing around with my new Lightbox and took some pictures of the Surge...

Enjoy :)

Nice work Mike!  Keep fiddling with the light placement, or adjust the exposure on your camera- your pics are still a little dark, but it's amazing what a difference a simple thing like a lightbox can do huh?

Yeah, I don't think I have enough light down there yet.  It's something I want to play with a bit more.  Hopefully I can get it worked out :)

Plus, I've got to figure out how to set the white balance on my camera... it's got a ton of settings that I have no clue what they do.

Thanks Bob... hopefully I won't annoy all of you with all the pics I'll probably take in the next few days :)

I took the top photo (hope you don't mind) and adjusted the white balance and the black level.
It was also resized to so I could get it loaded as a attachment, along with some unsharp mask in pspXI.

I've been switching between a Kodak EasyShare and a Sony Cybershot DSP200.  As for software, I'm using Microsoft Office Picture Manager.

That looks better.  I may have to break down and buy a decent picture program :)  The one I'm using was free with my computer.
