Are there any Pioneer Harvester owners here? What are your thoughts?

The Alox line is simply beautiful with really good tools.  The only reason I don't EDC an Alox on the farm is, most of my EDC tools end up pretty beaten--and I couldn't bear to do that to one of those beautiful little jewels.   :ahhh

(Alox Rambler is EDC at work though...)

I have one. Keep in mind there is no keychain attachment on this model compared to farmer, but has handy hawkbill blade which is great for clamshell packages. Also very sturdy alox construction.  :salute:

The best alox knife for carrying IMO. I have one that I used to replace my EDC Farmer. I prefer the PH over the Farmer because I like the lack of keyring and the hawkbill blade. I find I use the PH small blade about 50% of the time when carrying it, while I use the can opener on the Farmer about 1% of the time.

Thats not real right?

It's a mod, and a solution to one of my friend's problems, actually, concerning his want of a Farmer with both pruner and electrician blades.  Hmm, I need to show that to him sometime. >.>

Yes. That's a mod I've made some months ago. I missed the keyring on the electrician plus.
And while I was modding I added the pruner blade too.

It's a pretty simple mod, just swap some blades and peen all together with golden pins.  :)

Ugh, that's awful. I'm a nice guy - let me trade you for a nice silver one. No, no, you don't need to thank me, I'm happy to help.

Forget that:  let me trade you for a new-and-improved silver Pioneer Harvester with modern scales. ;)

It's one of my favourites personally. You won't regret getting one mate  :tu:

Farmers are excellent too, but this was my first Alox SAK because of that pruner blade - it's a truly wicked little thing  >:D
