I'll try to kick things off . This is a Vic. Ranger pouch , the paracord belt loop allows for both vertical and horizontal carry .

What a unique way to attach!  I wish I was that clever.     :)

Sweet. How does it attach? Is it one big loop?

It's basically an X shape , details may be better in my " beltloop " thread .

Basically , I'm a lazy bugger  , I have observed that beltloops are a PITA to repair or adjust - often requireing you to unpick and restitch the entire sheath .

Ont. is still close to Quebec . In cases like yours i just need a couple of good tracings , I make a wooden replica to mold on , then bingo . I have SAK's down to a science , just tell me how many layers .I just make a stack of " washers " and mold around that .

Works about 99% of the time , some exotic stuff you need to actually get your hands on .

Lovely work. The leather "button" at the back is a great idea  :tu:
