Show off your multitool mods!
on: March 02, 2010, 10:21:01 AM
OK so one of the most popular threads on this forum has been the "show off your SAK mod's".  Well I've just been looking at (and doing my own) multitool mods and thought it was high time we put some of these together in one thread.  So lots of pictures please, both old and new, of any kind of mod you have done on a multitool.

Kick with added saw and scissors.
Be excellent to each other and always know where your towel is.

OK so I'm playing around now.  Swapped the scissors out for a file on my Fuse making it a bit more like the original PST.

Your Skeletool is such a improvement over the original Shorty, a far better 'all round' multi. :tu:

With two other Leatherman's, but be warned it's tricky to hold on tightly and not slip.  You can also use a Kick's pocket clip, you'd need to flatten/cut off the side lug though.

I LOVE the Franken-Skele. So sweet.

And Gareth, nice job on the Fuse. I would love to try to make one with a saw, knife, can/bottle opener, scissors, and whatever drivers had room to fit (preferably philips and medium flat). Any idea if that would work out?

It would work fine, if you look closely in the first post, you'll see it's a Kick, not a Fuse. ;)

I would love that for camping and heck, for the usability and size, even EDC!
