Something I bought

It was last night (err...4am this morning) and I was lying in bed when it suddenly hit me that the bottle opener/flathead screwdriver on the PS4 might just fit into the square slot on the bit adapter if put in diagonally. I got up and went over to check, and it just about half a mm off. So when I got up, I gound the sides of the screwdriver so it fit perfectly. The adapter might actually have the same sized square hole used for the Leatherman bit adapter for the kick/fuse/juice etc.

I know there will be people who are going to bring up the matter of applying too much torque, and they might have a point. But the way I see it, Leatherman thinks their tool can handle rather big flathead screws. I'm not going to be using any bits that large with this, so I don't expect there to be a problem. I'm going to a local hardware store tomorrow to try to find something to make a 4mm microbit adapter for it too, since I have a nice toolkit of microbits for electronics and such - that would definitely not add torque problems.

Either that's a massive Squirt, or the grip is a bit too small.  Does it fire .22LR's or 4mm screwdriver bits? :D

Hmm... that'd be about perfect size for a trio of hamsters or gerbils, though, I bet.   :multi:

Bees have never bothered me. It was a bunch of wasps that tried eating my breakfast and take up permanent residence in my ice tea on friday  :ahhh

My last day at work after 7 years there involved cleaning up after a big event, including emptying the trash cans. Which were full of wasps, And I do means full. There wasn't a single trash can with less than 5 wasps in it, and one had probably about 50. We used the only thing we found - foam cleaner - to defend ourself. It was chemicals, so it worked, but it looked like we tried to cleaned them to death... I told my colleagues that after 7 years of working at that place (where the job is mostly outdoors, in the grass and woods) without getting stung, there was no way I would get stung the last 30 minutes I ever worked there. Luckily I wasn't, but that was when my bottled up hatred for wasps turned into a full blown rage  >:D Hence the minigun

Can't wait until the future when those cheap tiny RC helicopters you can buy anywhere come equipped with heat seeking wasp missiles

Since when did wasps emit heat?  They'll have to be fitted with tiny little camera with wasp face recognition.  Shouldn't be too hard, set them to take out anything that looks like this ...  >:(

So that'll be the end of wasps... and possibly Mike LoTS

Does it count as a MT mod if you remove everything but the blade? :D

Foam cleaner would probably work well.  >:D  So does a tennis racket.  :D

A can of hair lacquer (do they still make that stuff?) and a source of ignition is good too  >:D

Love the Squirt / knife / thing Andreas :D
I used to come here a lot.

Still prefer my PS4 as it has a couple of hundred extra tool capabilities with the bit adapters .But of course it reminds me of my Skeletool which gives it a few plus points

I think I'd still prefer to have kept the blade where it was and made it OH.  But that's just me and that's the beauty of mods, you get to make the tool how you want it :) :tu:

So would I as I said in the mini skeletool thread, but that would have meant no scissors :/ rather have both and limit the blade than not have the scissors

Had a normal hex bit extender close when I was doing some things in my workshop today and decided to make a flat-to-hex bit adapter out of it for the heck of it.

Been thinking of buying bunch of these adapters and turning them into flat-to-hex adapters and selling them off cheap. Getting LMs official ones can be expensive and/or hard even with ebay
