Early PST  :tu: Wonder how rare it is?  :think:

Currently at $44  :D

A few details that establish this scarce model as earlier than most models around are:

    * One handle stamped: LEATHERMAN TOOL, US PAT 4238862, PORTLAND OR
    * Other handle stamped POCKET SURVIVAL TOOL
    * Inch ruler only, no metric
    * No date codes
    * Drop point knife blade
    * Knife tang stamped LEATHERMAN USA

TBH I know very little of the PST, I wouldn't know a rare one to a bog standard one  ::)

But know plenty of people here do  :salute: Hopefully someone gets a good deal :D

I just won it. This old bird will get some TLC when it comes in the door. I will post photographs (I reckon I didn't have to say that. :D)

Rare enough that I haven't seen one of those on eBay in the last year or so.

That is an early to mid 80s PST. Considering Leatherman opened their doors in 83, that means a production run of only a few years. I believe this one predates the large Leatherman only stamped handle version.
