I wonder where he picked that up if he doesn't visit any forums. ;)  Plus it might be nice to ask if he can use a picture taken by a moderator on the worlds biggest multitool forum.  Perhaps he did.

I hope so. Nutnfancy is part of youtube's affiliate program and stands to earn a small amount of money through ad clicks/purchases. Using someone else's photos without permission to further this end isn't a very proper thing to do. He's been called out for using photos taken from forums before so let's hope he learned his lesson and got permission this time.

It was there from beginning. I posted the thread a few hours after he uploaded the video and when it had only 300 views.

I´m not sure if I like that guy. I liked his early videos, but when he started all that self-defense, weapon and tactical bullsmurf I quit my subscription. I still watch some videos on knives if I find them in the sidebar or when I look up a knive and find his review, but still, I´m not a fan.

The video on the Spirit is quite OK, but I guess Def or any other "no-lifer" here would have done better. Reviews on MTs are not his strong side...

Ah well, then I happily stand corrected. :tu:  I just wasn't sure it hadn't been edited in after the video had first been put up as I don't remember seeing it the fist time I watched.

The man is pretty nutters alright!

Also, his videos have quadrupled in length ever since he went all "civilian watchdog" on us.

In the info section there is also some mention of a certain photo drawn from photobucket; could be referring to Dunc's shot as well.

Looks like he is hiding behind Photobuckets blanket agreement, which means he probably found it here and took it from there ::)

I agree with you, guys.

It's just my opinion, but I'm not a fan of his videos. I liked some in the past, but now it's just too many guns, 'be prepared!', self defense equipment, 'surviving urban disasters'. And 'rampant soSmurfpillsm!'. In California!? ::) ;)

That's what I don't like about photobucket, it lets other people browse through all your image. Imageshack is starting to do the same thing, but so far if I don't use thumbnail or link to the image page it's okay.

Photobucket does offer an image name randomizer that combined with a password protected account appears to prevent that activity but I'm not sure how effective it is.

Hey guys, first post! Nutnfancy's video on the swisstool actually convinced me that I needed to have one and got me into multitools in general, I like my swisstool enough so that I might be getting a shiny new spirit as well. I see a lot of people disagree but I like his fieldwork with firearms because he uses the guns how they were made to be used and not like a toy to accessorize. It may not be for everyone, but he does cover good fundamentals and you can find some pretty good insight on new gear and techniques if you watch a bit. His talk about civilian sheepdogism I think is pretty well founded if you were brought up in a firearm rich environment, although I can see how those not used to firearms would find his videos distasteful though.

First off, welcome welcome mate

I was brought up in a family that is fairly anti-gun, but with a grandfather that took me shooting at the age of 11. I have a decently substantial knowledge of rifles mostly, so I at least understand a lot of what he says and where he comes from. But still, personally, I don't really agree with a lot of it mostly due to my political stance and viewpoints (personal views, I don't follow parties).

To each his own,
Cheers

For me personally I like a lot of his videos about firearms since I have an interest in them and don’t care that much about him talking about knife and MT’s since I get my dose here. When he is talking about “without rule of law” scenarios and “civilian sheepdog” and stuff like that then he has lost me, I just can’t get in to that mindset so I usually don’t watch videos like that. But he did have a good video about parents being WAY to overprotective.
There is no problem that cannot be solved by the use of high explosives.
