I am a huge TF fan, but I really have little interest in the movie.  I read the book and it's kind of a stinker.  The Transformers can change into anything they like, they are fighting over a pair of glasses that a kid has listed on eBay, and that kid singlehandedly kills Megatron in the end.

Bumblebee as a Camaro just doesn't work for me!

Def you must be my lost brother or something. Multitools, SAK's, both of us drive Sunfire's and know this about Transformers. ;D I too and huge TF fan (now you know why I picked Prime as my user name) I still have some of the Generation 1 toys from when I was a kid and the whole generation 1 on DVD. At first I wasn't to excited about the movie and I don't have really high hopes for it but the fan in as gotten me a little excited. I think my two stepsons look forward to it more than me.

Your kidding me, right?  I still have boxes of the original G1 Transformers.  I have a few of the Beast Wars guys too, but lost serious interest when Rodimus took over.  Although I have to say that I think the absolute best piece of filmmaking ever recorded by humankind started with the phrase "Megatron must be stopped, no matter the cost."

It starts a little late, but here's most of the fight for those who haven't seen it, need a little refresher or just want to enjoy it again!

As for being a TF nut, as you can see by the desk in front of me, I have little choice!

Cant wait to watch the movie myself.

I have to say though, I watched the entire Beast Wars series and loved it to bits. Thought the animation, and story were amazing, love what Megatron became at the end!

Def you must be my lost brother or something. Multitools, SAK's, both of us drive Sunfire's and know this about Transformers.

They should bring out a special commemerative Transformer just for you two knuckleheads. It would look like an ordinary Vic Classic in it's natural state, then convert into a rusty Sunfire if it had to go mobile, or transform into Lord Voldemort when it had to do battle. Oh, and the head would pivot back and it could double as a Pez dispenser.  ;)

But what would be an appropriate name?

I am mega excited about this movie. I plan to go see it with my co-workers this Sunday after work.

I think between myself and my two older brothers we had, and eventually destroyed, every single Transformer ever. My right arm still aches when it rains from the massive pounding my brother gave me after I dropped his Optimus Prime off the roof (why I was up there; a long story for another time).

<- Huge dork.

Not yet no... my wife wants to see it too so we'll probably go this weekend.

One of her co workers' kids wanted to see the movie- he's about 4 and she didn't think it would be appropriate so she borrowed my old VHS copy of the original movie.  Of course I warned her that mine is the special edition which is exactly like the original except when Spike and Bumblebee try to detonate Cybertron's moon in Unicron's face, and it doesn't work, Spike yells "Aww SH*T" instead of "Oh No!"

I see it's out on DVD now- I'll have to pick it up too... at the very least I need to see what version it is!  I remember the first time I watched it and heard that... I rewound it thinking "No, he didn't say that..."  Sure enough, he did, but I thought I was hearing things and rewound it a dozen or so times, still not believing it!

When's the GoBots movie coming out?  Of course, they'd probably make Scooter a Harley and piss me off...
