So I was going through a old work bag and having a clear out,the bag in question has been sat in a cupboard for about a year.

At the time I carried a box cutter to work being a helpful person   I would let people go into my bag when they needed a box cutter.

Now I always kept spare blades in a case for safety  :salute: but some jerk must have spilled the blades into my bag at some point and didn't bother to either inform me or they couldn't be bothered to check that all the blades had been collected back up  :ahhh

Well last night I found one blade when I reached into the bag clutching what I thought were pens, papers  :ahhh

The result  :D being rather heavy handed, yes! it went to the bone  ;)

and the offending blade  >:D

If the cut is really that deep, it needs to be examined for tendon and tendon sheath injury.  You don't want to end up with a trigger finger.

Thanks guys

well it seemed deep down to the bone(but that just my estimate) and I avoided AE cause they're having problems with super bugs ATM :ahhh and I didn't want to add salt to the wound so with little training I've had I was able to stop the bleeding and added some strong butterfly stitches,it's all held up when I checked this morning so fingers crossed I don't end up with a funny finger if I do then when ever I use this  :pok: it will have new meaning for me

We'll need pics of the stitches as well ;)  >:D
