I say SAK like sack, GAK like gack, and CAK like cack.

Then how do you say Zack?

I say it like Ack! Not that guy again.

And I say SAK like sack, but in my head it just reads out swiss army knife.

And there are no dumb questions... just dumb people who ask them.

I was thinking about this and really, I don't think I ever say (type) SAK except when I'm on here.  I just always say Swiss Army Knife when I'm talking to people...probably because they'd wonder what the heck I was talking about.  But when I type it, in my head it sounds like "sack".

Same here.  I don't suppose anyone other than my wife would know what I meant anyway.  i suppose at the meet-ups I would say "sack".

I have the same issue with EDC.  Who here actually says "E.D.C" out loud?  My wife (trying to get into the spirit of things) once asked if an item was going to be "E.D.C" and it just sounded wrong.  So when I talk about it I tend to call my stuff part of my "carry", at least it's a word.
