Rayovac Sportsman Extreme 3 watt
on: July 20, 2007, 02:55:54 AM
Walmart has new light display up and found this one last night after work. I'm really happy with it. I'm really pleased with how bright it is. It's nicely built and has a decent pocket clip. Paid only $25.

Pretty nice looking.  Is it a plastic body?

It looks a little big for my taste, but at that price I may just have to snag one.

That just bumped it up a notch in my mind then- I thought it looked like plastic!

Looks like another score then!

I've been eyeing one of those for a few weeks now.  Glad to hear you like it, although now I'm going to have to go get one!  :)

Clicky tailcap?
You tighten the tailcap all the way for on, loosen a little for click momentary on, then loosen a little more for lock out off.

I can't find the thread for this light over at CPF but I'm pretty sure it is the same as the Nuwai X-3, which in itself it a very good light.

Here's a review from flashlight reviews:http://flashlightreviews.com/reviews/nuwai_x-3.htm

Yes, it is a rebadge of the X-3.  Target has some rebadged as River Rock 3watts, and I guess Cabela's has their own rebadge of it too.

Sportsman Extreme sounds like a hell of a name.  Do you think it would be as successful if they called it the "Guy who doesn't bump into stuff in the dark?"
