Micro Toolclip
on: March 25, 2010, 10:47:23 PM
These older SOGs just never seem to come up on eBay.ca. I decided to see if the US side had some, and got lucky. After a quick confirmation email asking if he would send one up north, I placed a bid and won it.

I didn't even know if it was one of the new models that I have read in here. Looks like I got an old one. Bonus!

No doubt. It isn't something I would EDC either. With that said, it is my oldest SOG at the moment.

This is the first 'Multi Tool' I ever bought.
I carried it for awhile, but still have it in by drawer full o' hardware.

Great one to add to the collection Chako, but after seeing the one Mike had I can't see one ever getting into my EDC.

The new models aren't out yet, so there's a good possibility it wasn't going to be one of those.

There has been a guy from Washington on ebay that has been multiples and has been selling them off for
quite some time.  I bought one there awhile back.

Good news. $20 MSRP means it should be available for less, and in 4 different colors :tu:

As I'm sure you know by now we have done a few samples in the past:

So any of these is a possibility to run, but we are also looking into the possibility of a new Micro ToolClip with the Multitool.org logo on it, provided we can find a suitable place to put the logo.  And, now that SOG owns ToolLogic, it's even more likely we may see a ToolLogic/Multitool.org offering as well.

Not necessarily.  Some of the really crappy manufacturers offer a lifetime warranty to sell their products.  A $10 tool probably cost the marketer all of $.25, so they can replace it quite a few times over and still have made a profit.
