Trust me Ratslash, it's not a tool you'd carry.  While it is a bit of a collectible, they are almost all found in or near new condition simply because no one in the history of mankind has ever wanted to even try carrying one of these monstrosities.

That's part of why they were discontinued- they were such a horrific idea to start with, then got worse from there!

Gotcha. I got a little excited there for a minute. So.. Glove box carry might make sense but I can fit a lot of real tools in my glove box.

Thanks
A

Got me one too, but no camera with to take a picture. Also have the aforementioned autotool. I don't think the ole lardyratchet was too bad of a concept, just in the execution. It would have made a fine and serviceable small ¼" driver that I personally would have used. IF IT WASN'T MADE OF FREAKIN PLASTIC!!! That's right the drive mechanism is plastic, making it virtually useless for tightening anything past finger tight. So really what is the point then?

Is that speaking about the SportsRachet or the AutoTool?   Both are monstrosities and discontinued and I have both as "shelf queens" ::)

I have one, but it's missing the detachable spanner thing :(

Only one has the spanner though :(

Grant, I wonder if Freeport Knives would have replacement SportRatchet spanners for Dave and Neil?

Well that would be a bonus :)  Realistically if I had two complete ones I'd trade one away as they are both in great condition (strangely enough ;) ).  As it stands one lives with me for the collection and the other because its not really tradeable  :-\

I suppose they are happier in pairs anyway, they share the same box and don't fight or anything :D
I'm not taking any more mod orders at present, sorry.
