I followed the review on CPF for a little while but I'm not too interested with the light since it is a 3xAAA form factor.  :P

I am not too sure.. But, whats the point in having it? Sure, it says Leatherman but it's obviously far behind Fenix and Surefire. I would get a Fenix L2D instead. It is very powerful and runs off two AA's..

It's cheap and has a familiar brand name on it, good enough for a lot of folks.

Consistancy!! ::)
Still, Maybe Leatherman is going the way Victorinox and Wenger are going.  First: flashlight, then luggage, then clothing, limited edition Ford Explorers(like Eddie Bauer), Marital aides,,,,,etc.  Perhaps they're trying to go beyond just Multis/knives??

But if it was a Leatherman light, don't you think they would advertise them on their site?

It's similar to the Aussie watch dealie. They branded with the Leatherman logo and name but I don't think they ever get advertised.

You'd think they advertise it for the hardcases who spend all their free time in forums, talking about multitools like they were the second coming.....

 :oops: never mind ::) :P
