I know, I've bought from Tim once before and loved the service (even if I was not satisfied with my choices - that's hardly his fault!)

HOWEVER, my minimal government stipend for being re-educated in a new industry does not even keep me in pasta and potatoes, let alone allow for new tool purchases (as soon as I'm back in the world of income, I'll be going through his second hand deals - hopefully I can get some bargains!)

As for the Spartan - so far checked the car and the couch. The Car had the remains of the German SAKlike I bought at the same time as the Spartan, and the cough had a broken eyeglasses arm and lots of lint. Where else should I search?

I sometimes find mine in the places Pacu mentioned.

Mostly though, I find lost stuff in whatever pants I had on prior to said item shifting from a known location to a state of lostness.

I found my Wenger Viking, which I hadn't seen in over five years (at least) and was sure I threw away (I was going through a weird, "the computer is the only tool I need" hipster phase) hidden in a drawer.
