Tactical Knives
on:

I picked up an issue of "Tactical Knives" today, and spotted some interesting things, and I figured I'd tell you guys!
1. 2 page article on the X-Tract
2. A couple paragraphs on the Guppie
3. An ad by Tops knives, with pictures of knife makers/designers and knives that they made/designed, and among them was the Swiss Basic Tool by Swiss Bianco!
I've just been flipping through it, reading various things.
Oh! By the way, my KA-BAR tanto knives came, a Mule and a Warthog, pics soon.

Thanks for the heads-up Viper. I'll have to stop by the book store tomorrow and see if they have a copy. (Sometimes they carry Tactical Knives, and sometimes they don't.)
In order to be certain of having the right tool for every job.........one must first acquire a lot of tools

That's the last issue. The current issue features the Caspian Pocketsmith II.

Really? Grocery store is out of date then. What's funny, is that a couple years ago I was missing an issue of a magazine (I bought issue 78, suscribed, and got 80 in the mail) and the only place I could find that didn't put up issue 80 yet was a bookstore.

I got the issue you are talking about (September I think?) about two months ago. In fact, it was one of the reasons I started the Multi-Media forum below.

Yeah, September, with the two SAWs on the cover.
Ha! I just realised that it says "display until July 30th" I picked it up on the first of August.

I have not been able to get the tactical knives magazine lately I have not been able to find it. I have not renewed my subscription so I guess I have to do that soon. I dont want to miss all the goodies made of "ninja steel" as Def would call it. I do get combat handguns though. I have not gotten an issue in a few weeks and it is about due to get to me.

just received new tactical mag( sept.2008),pretty good one,has good review on CRKT`s Guppie and Zillatool, some topic about Lansky`s MT100,some stuff about three machetes(meyerco, gerber, condor).shot show report,Tops atax, tool logic sl pro,McCann Puffin.
and it has quite big review of seven different brand/model resque knives,Jeff Randalls post called"surviving third world mean streets",which is quite good although short.and this funny"Chinese torturetest"on some real cheap folders.Ive been here drooling that Holeb Bushmann they wrote about too.An i also found info on those Ka-Bar FIN folders i saw talked about here too.i really like this sissue, ive been reading for this magazine for few years and its alaways pretty good and matches my taste.here in finland mostly they drool those traditional Puukko´s but i aint so narrow minded
.
and besides, this is really good training for language to me.
BTW,where do they sell LIFELINE brand waterproof boxes for small kits etc?
