So this was my attempt to make an Airport friendly SAK SAT.

Notice that I've opened the "secret" plus scale slot.  I still have to mod some tweezers



It's pretty slim and has no sharps on it.



But here's the kicker 



This gives me a very nice way to EDC the drivers/plus scale tools and clock with my Electrogolfer (?! ) AND at the same time, can carry a SAT onboard.



I'm thinking CyberFlight or Quantum Mechanic  (or possibly GolfTimer  )

Nope.  The file is from a Vic Mountaineer.  No backspring tool.  I'm thinking of putting a small rare earth magnet there.

I asked security last time I was at the airport.  Pliers and screwdrivers are fine.  The file was my real question.  I plan on bringing it to the airport for official opinion.

Great mod.  Maybe if you grind the file tip off and round it like a my first vic you can get past the idiocy of the travel laws.

The file might be okay. I know they allow nail files and I've flown with my knifeless fuse. The problem is inconsistency. Your airport may say it's fine and another airport might not allow it. TSA is notorious for allowing low grade Federal employees to make random decisions based on their "experience". (I'm a Federal employee and do deal with them occasionally.) But if you want to be safe the file off.
