Best tool for portable bike shop

Is there a uber-bike-multitool for bike repairs? I'm open to recommendations. Thanks.

Haven't got a Topeak Alien DX myself, but I've heard good things about it. All Topeak stuff seems pretty well made.

Merit Badges Take part in the christmas pool or a rak type giveaway. Those wanting to say thank you for a rak may also nominate for the santa. For those who posted like a boss. Post your pocket dump photos then challenge two more members who must post their pocket dump photos within 24hrs for you to get the badge. Welcome to the forums Cipher!!!  Always happy to see fellow cyclists come aboard. The Alien DX is the one bike multi tool that just about crosses over the line from a specialized multi tool  to a general purpose multi.Come visit the Cycle Path sub-forum,and spend some time

I was about a mile away from home yesterday (almost home!) and my chain snapped. Really wished I had that chain tool with me.

That looks like a pretty cool tool as well!  Unfortunately since I haven't got a bike I can't comment on how useful they are, but I am getting a nice collection of bike tools going!

                I don't have any hands on experience with that particular tool..but I know that anything from Blackburn is top shelf gear.

I don't know whether the Toolmanator is any good, but I sure think the name sounds impressive.  :)
