I thought you turned up to the sale and filled your car boot with the most reasonably priced rust you could find, nice and early so the good rust wasn't all sold...

I also buy wood with worm holes  :D

So I took some of the left over bits and added some ¼ ply  ;)

Not too bad

Add filla

Rubbed down and sprayed with satin black

Sorted  :D

Ever wonder what happened to this little joiner’s toolbox?

Oh, another old tool box and some socks  :)

First I started on the lock,
I wanted to use the lock but I didn’t have any keys, how hard would it be to make some?
As it turned out the lock was easy to disassemble so not terribly hard, (hardest part is finding blanks or keys to cut up)
just needed a lot of patience, once I found one S/H and one blank key...

Here it is back together with two new keys after a few hours with a dremel and some needle files
  :D

After some wood reviver  ;)

After wax/linseed oil/turpentine mix and a hot air gun

After replacing worn screws with ‘feet’ (not sure if these will stay yet)

Outside, better light

Not sure about the new handle yet

You can see the little finger slot at the back of the top drawer

Happy now  :D
