@Mat and Steinar
I have always called these ham knives but I must admit this one is huge

Yeah, pretty much/exactly the same thing as a salmon slicer. Thin slices of something soft that has a tendency to stick to the blade. Where I live just has the tendency to make me think of fish before ham. :D

That sounds fair enough so the size of this knife tells me its a shark knife  :tu:

Tony you are going to have to redo your kitchen draws to store that bad boy  :P :D :D

@ Kart.  Do many tools have the price stamped/fixed on them?  It seems very strange here in a land with varying inflation :)
I'm not taking any more mod orders at present, sorry.

In the USSR it was in the order of things. Price should be indicated on the product.

I can imagine that on certain utility items the price would be set my the relevant government department.

Pick-Ax handle
Bike spanner (for a Mate)
Nice screwdriver bit ratchet
Pad saw
Another old Marples wood chisel  ::)
A surform rasp
Old pair of sheers (baaaaa)  :D

And some bread and veggies  :D

very nice tony , ive got that little rachet here and they work really well and are lightweight, i thought of you this am as there was a axe head at my local booty but he wanted £6  i only had £4 to spend and picked up a shoe makers anvil result as i need a anvil, plus a true utility MT with one side of it tools missing so im going to turn it into a cycling MT, it was £1 and £2 for the anvil  :tu:

Good score on the shoe makers anvil! useful  :tu:

I never know how much things should be, the hatchet was only 50p so I didn't even bother haggling  :D

The little ratchet is my second spare one, its a nice little thing, the handle is a bit rubbery for good grip and the knurled bit you turn comes off and you can use a ¼ inch socket drive on it

Everything’s adjustable

cheers tony im well happy with the anvil as know it will be very handy, as for the true utility MT i cant wait to mod it,my only issue is the bolts as ive a few here but not long enough so ill see what i have in the shed, i might combine my cycling MT with this one, the bit driver is magnetic and the scissors work really well, 50p  :tu: yeah £6 was mad and i couldnt be bothered to knock him down as only £1 left  :D looks like we both done well today mate, i got down there for am with the whole family, well other than coral as she slept into 9pm  :D right need nut and bolt  :ahhh
