Looks like Channellock probably cornered that market on this side of the ocean.  Sturdy looking tools, though.
Half-ass done wholeheartedly!

More stuff

A nice small Buck liner lock knife with 'Mac tools' on the side
A nice SAK that has never been near a grinder  :o
A very large rusty file  ;)
And a spoke shave  :tu:

Mike thanks for telling me the model as I didn't know,
I was very surprised when I picked this one up as the blades have not been sharpened, I often see knives that someone has taken a grinder to,  :bnghd:
This is very lightly used but the scales are a bit scuffed

You found a nice-shape Stayglow SAK at a boot sale?

Did they have a good-sized bag of hen's teeth there as well?

I was as surprised as you are!  :o
I was looking on a stall where I have found one or two things before (the guy buys 'lots' or does house clearance) when I saw a little pile of SAKs and knives,  :ahhh
these were mostly Chinese junk and the two which I brought, he also had a folding dagger that looked like a boot knife when it was opened, it was also cheap junk

Ooh And I brought some more marmalade and jam

I was keeping an eye out for more interesting stuff but that was about it

Ryan,
You never seen them in action before?
You don't work with any grumpy old Sparkies then?
They are great for doing conduit! (threaded rod, rounded off nuts an bolts)
They tend to bugger up the surface of whatever you use them on so for example you wouldn't use them on a set of bathroom taps  :dwts:

If you get some remember;
They only work in one direction
You don't squeeze them like pliers!!
The harder you push the harder they grip

(Image removed from quote.)

PS, Blokes you work with will take the piss until they try to undo the conduit you put in with them  ;)

I got a pair of these today found them in an old toolbox in a practically empty building a 225 mm pair I think just missing the screw but a nut bolt and some washers fixed that =)

Footprints can be very handy Ryan, a good alternative to a set of Stilsons. :tu:

That will be 9'' in old money then  ::)

A great find!
I have just looked through my spare bolt tin and I think I have a bolt that will fit the thread in your new grips once I have cut it down,
Its not quite perfect but it will be a bit better than a nut an bolt
I can pop it in the post to you if you like  :tu:

If you take a look at the 'back' handle you will see that one of the holes is smaller and threaded
Anyway I reckon I have an ideal bolt to fit (unless the thread is stripped)

I will go cut it down then get a pic for you  ;)

They all have, they are OK if you are stuck but the angle is a bit too steep (I might mean too blunt) to make a good screwdriver
But they are great for getting the lid off tins of paint (better than using your Leatherman!)  ::)

You don't really want a pic do you?

I did see an old pair that looked about 4'' but these were too small for what I use them for
Personally I reckon the 175mm/7'' is about perfect for my use
(20, 25mm pipe)  :tu:

Not a SAK to be seen today but someone will be happy as they were on every stall  ;)

The thing in the middle is a tiny plane that uses a safety razor as a blade  :tu:

I hope I don't get in to trouble as there's not a multitool in sight  :ahhh
