Seeing as He was a carpenter, I'd guess something tough with a good saw and file. Maybe a surge with extra blades, would be my guess  :D
OTOH, He did a lot of walking, so that might have been a little heavy. Maybe he'd go for the smaller KF4, still with a saw and file. Not that I'm trying to make a case for the KF4 or anything  ;D

I will be sending back my victorinox spirit due to a quality control issue, but i plan to keep its replacement a long time because its a great compact tool, the closest thing to the best all round tool for me right now.


OT: Ummm.. May I ask what was the problem/QC issue you had with your Vic Spirit? =)

I have never had a QC issue with a victorinox.  Somebody must have been hung over that morning.
