I have been considering the purchase of a Remora or Lunada. The new Noatak looks good. However, unlike the Remora and Lunada gearslingers, the Noatak appears to be designed to be carried only on the right side. Too, the Noatak has a Y-strap and the Y-strap on my Maxpedition gear always gets in the way. I think the Y-strap's function is to relieve the stress on the zippers. Guess the Y-strap could be easily cut off if you don't plan to load down the pack.
I'm with Ryan on this, as I much prefer proper rucksacks in bag's that size Does look the part though
