I think im gonna pass buying 3rd Rebar but i wont say no if i find one for good price. So far that tape has been hold quite good time without issues. I also thinking to use dremel make marks on handle to keep track what tools handle have without guessing.

You doNOT love the REBAR???

I before thinking have five.
SS, Coyote, Black Ozide, a 2nd SS - Heritage package, and last a SEINNA color.  Spent $40 each on the first four, the last bought last year onsale 25% of IIRC!
If I start and end the day above ground, it is a good day!

Hope yours is as good!

There are other methods to distinguish which handle has PE or SE on the REBAR!!!

First, Leatherman placed the PE blade on the handle side with English measure markings.   The SE is on the side with Metric markings.

Or, as they did on the WAVE or CHARGE, add two or three gimping indents on tile edge of the SE BLADE.

THIRD, you can observe the PLAIN EDGE is the side with the flat blade drivers. The SERRATED EDGE is in the handle with the PHILLIPS.

OR, what I did the first time was used a RED SHARPIE and colored the blades nail Nick of the SE. and Black for PE

It is also an issue at LEATHERMAN for assemble at the factory. As REBARS have left the factory with two PHILLIPS handles attached to the same plier head.

I bought a Cabela’s at the time exclusive REBARS configured that way, they exchanged the next day, but I kick myself often thinking back I should have kept it.

OR! You could buy a brand NEW, ultra Spiffy BI-COLOUR Rebar.

To help with tool identification EVEN More I am attaching GITD tape to both handles with DARK GREEN written on the dark green side and LIGHT GREEN written on the light green side. Tool identification and retrieval has never been quicker or easier. Even in the DARK

Few weeks back I accidentally went out naked - no knife, no multi tool. Felt wrong the whole time I was out. So I decided, since it's winter, to leave a Leatherman in my jacket. Chose the Rebar for that duty . Old pic from when I did the 30 day challenge with it.

Serrated blade up for the task.

There aren't many blades out there that cut as well as the Rebar's.  Sharp!

Super sharp! And the Rebar is super impressive. I gave Leatherman one last chance after being disappointed with the Wave and it's ended up being my fave MT of all time

Impressive job improving visibility of the markings.

And, yes the serrated edge cut piece after piece without an issue.
