The Case Knife club

XX

Anyone a Case knife fan? I've gotta a couple up north in my dads rifle safe..yellow handled stockman i believe and a stag swayback jack knife. I really like the looks of the blue bone.

also what's your favourite type as in peanut, stockman, lockback, trapper, canoe and so on?

Just the one Case but I'm sure a fan.

Be excellent to each other and always know where your towel is.

I only have one as well, but I am about to get 2 Sodbusters one for my neighbor who is helping me in the move and one for my new step father, who has also helped a bunch.

I have a couple; of those I remember, I have two 1979 red bone Appaloosa Peanuts, a current G10 peanut (which is damn beautiful ), a 2002 Limited Edition 1 of 2500 Caribbean blue jigged bone Trapper, a saved yellow Stockman that's probably twenty years old, and at least one or two very limited edition models tucked away in a safe; I need to do a family photo soon. :)

I am A Case Club member and have quite a few limited pieces as well as some special limited Club pieces.  I my favorite knife is the peanut, which makes up the majority of my collection, but I also have a few mini trappers that I like and awful lot. :D

That;s the reason I have ordered a KSF slipcase which I will clip in to my pocket :)

I have an old Case which was a present from a dear friend and a newer Sodbuster which was from John. I have to say I think they are both great knives  :tu:

I'm a big Case fan, I own a couple hundred of them....or there abouts! Lost count along time ago.

Anyway, my favorite pattern from them is their #94 Gunboat Canoe, here's a pic of one in my collection.....

With the #75 Large Stockman coming in a close second.........

Here's several pics of my more recent Case acquisitions:

I like Case Knives...... :D

Dude.... I like your Case knives too

How about you trade me some of them for whichever internal organ takes your fancy? :D

I especially love the red one 6th down - not sure of the pattern   It's absolutely lovely.

nuphoria,

The 6th one down, as well as the 7th and 13th, are #40 pattern Jumbo Stockmans. These are even bigger than Case's #75 pattern Large Stockman. The #40 pattern is 4 1/2" closed, and these are from the original Case Classic Series of knives. (These were actually made by Queen Cutlery as contract knives through Blue Grass Cutlery for Jim Parker.)

Pacu,

Thanks!  :tu:

 I still have the green bone stockman (I'll find the pic later) and the broken one.  I so want a Gunboat Canoe...I love that pattern just as much as i love the medium stockman.

Of course when I was removing the memory card - after having put up all of the knives, I looked over and saw that Limited Edition Caribbean Trapper.  ::)

And yes, I know there is a German knife (of which I can't remember the manufacturer), and a Schatt & Morgan Queen Cutlery knife in there.
