John buddy- my condolences to you and Mrs Gadget Guy.  The good thing is that she's at peace now, and while the world may seem like a darker place for those of us left behind, remember that I'm sure she'd rather you celebrated her life than mourned her death.  Someone close to you passing away is always a difficult thing and it's even more difficult when you think you are starting to come to terms with it until sometime when you see something that she would have been interested in, and you instinctively think "Oh, I have to call...." and that brings it all back again.

It'll get harder for a while, but eventually it will get easier, not because she doesn't matter anymore (that will never happen) but because life has to go on, and I'm pretty certain everyone here will be here if you want to talk, publicly or privately.

Sorry to hear about your family's loss. My father-in-law died suddenly of cancer a couple years ago as well. In the end we considered his sudden death a blessing as he did not suffer too long. Death is an enemy, defeating us all.

Sincerest condolences.
