Filters for B&W photography
on: July 16, 2010, 04:51:45 PM
I have 5 different filters for traditional black & white photography left over. I can't use them anymore on my digital SLR camera. All fit on 58 mm diameter lenses.

1x Hama HTMC Y2 (yellow)
1x Hama HTMC R8 (red)
1x Hama HTMC YG2,5 (green)
1x Hoya HMC orange
1x B&W F-Pro 091 dark red

All filters are high quality filters with coating, without visible scratches. Used, but in very good condition. I don't have any boxes for them.

No chance to sell them on ebay, no one seems to need such things today. If there's anyone out here who wants them, for photography or to do other things with them, I would like to trade them for a SAK or two (new or used, I don't care as long as they are in good condition). I am looking for a red (or any colored) Soldier or Pioneer or Farmer or Cadet, a Compact, or a Cybertool.

Just so you know, dark reds are still good for contrast if you're doing black and white in digital.  The generally strong IR filters in current dSLRs tend to make black and white photography kind of difficult without them.
