Still waiting for mine to show up... put one bear trap out for one mailman and soon you are on "the list."

 :D :D :D

Here it is. This site has so many knives and tools, but I'm not sure how reliable they are, I'll have to try'em out.

By the way, this is the Trident that should be here tomorrow-

Having the seat belt cutter on the trident always struck me as a good idea, you'll have to let us know how it work's in practice mate :)
Give in, buy several Farmer's!!!!!!

Y'know, what with those new pics that Viper posted, the Kilowatt suddenly looks a lot better to me.

(I could still do without the gaudy electrical socket on the blade and electrical diagram on the handle though.)  ::)

Five minutes with a polishing kit should take care of that...

I first saw the SOG theme knives a few months ago and thought "bah, looks like a toy." But I've been seeing some pictures and preliminary reviews and the more I see the more I like the little touches that bring the design together.

Kind of makes me wonder how all those little touches will look in a few years time when the knife has been used hard. Elegant or cheap?

I hope it'll be better at cutting paracord than my current grooved knife. I'm excited that it will be easier to sharpen as well.

It looks like they're doing it on a lot of knives, even the fixed blades have special sheaths because of some accidents that apparently happened while soldiers were cutting small things, such as paracord, with the large blade.

I'll test it and get a review up as soon as I get it. Should come tomorrow.

I got mine today and I have to say it isn't too bad.  It fits in the hand comfortably and is a good size.  I don;t know about the wire strippers gizmos yet but I'll give it a workout over the next few days and see whats what.

I got my Trident today as well! It is delicious! The groove was perfect for paracord, and I imagine fishing line as well. The blade is, like you said, the sharpest I've ever had out of the box.

Looks like SOG has teamed up with Paladin on another joint venture: Paladin PowerBlade

Here's a seperate link to the spec page: http://www.paladin-tools.com/view_tool.php?id=649&parent_id=354

My first year being of being an officer one of my friends got me a SOG knife. It was a small dagger like fixed blade... I can't think of the name! Out of the box it was so sharp it wasn't even funny!!! Like it was super sharp!
