I was flipping through the channels earlier and I saw a documentary abotu some guy going to the US Air Guitar Championship.  I thought it was a joke.

Nope.

I thought the Rock Paper Scissors competitions were silly, but these air guitar guys... well I don't really know what's stranger- the fact that people turned this into a competition, or the fact that someone felt it was important enough to put on TV.

What's next?  If they turn all the things you do in private into a competition, when is the Pay Per View for the International Nose Picking Championship?

I would probably watch the air guitar competition!

If people want to compete in air guitar, others will step up to judge.  Whatever the criteria for evaluation, they will be understood by participants, judges, audiences, and nobody else.  I'll bet this is almost exclusively a guy thing.
