Paul I was thinking of the anvil mate so as long as the anvil is 20mm thick placed onto a vise of some sort the thickness should be fine, more importantly is where are you going to strike the digits? straight across or in a arc?

Paul go by character height the size in height you want the digits to stand  :salute: i.e 1.5mm is the height of say the No.1 will stand  ;)

[edit] ok to make it easier on your watch Paul I estimate the stamp used around 1.5mm if you want it to stand out more use 3mm character height and so on.... :tu:

[edit] pass it by me Paul before you buy,Ill take full responsibility mate

Would perhaps a hammer head mounted in a vise make for a good whacking surface ?
I'm not taking any more mod orders at present, sorry.

Seems like we're already down this road, but I also think a stamp is needed to make it special otherwise we could just purchase one of the many sub homage or replicas.
