That was pretty low when he ejected. Thank goodness for modern safety equipment.

I thought the cost was closer to $60 million.

I wonder if they will deduct that from his wages.

Obviously I did my research before posting  ;)

The Super Hornet, E and F models come in around $57m

The C and D models come in around $29m

Don't know which model was destroyed so I went for the cheaper option :D

I can't tell, but I think you are right that it is one of the olders planes. Still a lot of money though.

I'm not sure but CF-18s were customized, and not sure if they've gotten any newer models...
The difficult we do immediately, the impossible takes a little longer.

They have a zero - zero capability for the ejection seats

zero altitude and zero mph and you will survive an ejection
Why do I carry a 45 ?
Because they don't make a 46 !
