Scissors spring replacement tool
on: January 12, 2025, 07:47:43 PM
Anyone else have one of these? I bought it a few months ago and just used it for the first time. What used to be a frustrating job is now super easy, and took less than a minute.

I have one as well, they are fantastic. No clue how many springs I have replaced through the years for family, friends  or SAKs I bought cheap with missing or broken springs.

I bought one a few years back from Heinnie Haynes in Wales, UK - certainly makes spring changing a breeze!

I found it on eBay. Watched it for days hoping to be the winning bidder. I was shocked when got it the price I did; pretty sure I would pay that much just to buy all the springs.

The Heidi Shop was selling them a few years ago, but last couple times I looked they didn't have them in stock.

I can't believe how easy it is! Every way I tried in the past was rather frustrating. I always felt like I needed a third hand. The anvil clamp is that third hand!
