You having almost all of them is probably why they’re so expensive in the first place

Do it! I’m sure elsinox could help you sell it and fetch decent pricing!  ;) I’m certainly tempted at that price and I only have a handful.

Just list them one at a time. Maybe a month or more apart.  :dunno:

Anybody lurking out there gonna fess up to buying this one?

... And for a scissor with a ‘kamakiri’ spring fix/mod...
...Especially with the double leaf spring fix.

Can you explain what do you mean, or post a link for me to read? Thank you in advance  ;)

“A reproduction wouldn’t be that difficult to make, and sometimes I mod broken double leaf springs into the single leaf shape for knives that I use or which a working spring was removed to be used in another. “

The early double leaf springs are notorious for breaking at the apex or tight radius bend. Apparently, people who resell knives picked up on this, and I’ve seen it pretty frequently in recent times. Unsuspecting buyers be aware.

Oops…forgot to add:
A couple I have done on 91mm and 84mm scissors

Generally, the factory original single leaf springs have a different look and taper to them. At least clear when viewing from different angles.

Nice KK - Thanks

I did not know about the spring mod either - Never mind spotting it in an old SAK!

I probably need to do it on an old Champion I have  :tu:
